Young Peoples Groups
When: Thursday nights 6.30 – 8pm during term time
Where: Draycott Church Hall
Ages: 10-14 years old
Cost: £1
What happens: Sharing time, Games, Activities, Prayer, Talks. Each week has a different theme and varies in content so it’s best to come along and find out if you like it.
Admissions: Feel free to turn up and find out what’s going on. There is space for new people and Chrissi can tell you what’s happening if you want to call before and find out.
Friday Club
When: Friday nights 6.30 – 8pm during term-time
Where: Blythe Bridge Methodist Church
Ages: 7-13 years old
Cost: 50p
What happens: Sharing time, Games, Activities, Prayer, Talks. Each week has a different theme and varies in content so it’s best to come along and find out if you like it.
Admissions: A limited number of people are accepted each half term to ensure numbers are not unmanageable. There is currently space, but contact Chrissi if you’re thinking of coming along and she’ll tell you what the situation is.
Youth Fellowship
When: 1st, 3rd & 5th Sunday nights 7-8.30pm during term time
Where: Chrissi’s House
Ages: 11-18 years old
Cost: Free
What happens: This is a group that helps young people think about issues in life from a Christian perspective. It involves some games, sharing thoughts, prayer and looking at the Bible.
Admissions: Feel free to turn up and find out what’s going on, but you might want to find out where Chrissi lives so give her a ring first.
Christian Union
When: Thursday lunchtimes, 1.10pm
Where: Blythe Bridge High School, Room N10
Ages: 11–18 years old
Cost: Free
What happens: This is a group that helps young people think about issues in life from a Christian perspective. It involves some games, sharing thoughts, prayer and thinking about spiritual themes.
Admissions: Only open to pupils at Blythe Bridge High School. Feel free to turn up with lunch and find out what’s going on. You can get more information from Chrissi in school.
Saturday Hub
When: Saturdays between 9am and 1pm during term time
Where: The Egerton Centre (upstairs in the library)
Ages: under 12 years old
Cost: Each activity costs £1.50 with family discounts available
What happens: A community run activities session involving multi-sports and arts based activities with a café selling hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Admissions: Feel free to turn up and find out what’s going on. More information from the library.
Ignite
When: Tuesdays after school, 3.30-4.30pm
Where: Forsbrook Primary School
Ages: School years 3-6
Cost: Free
What happens: This is a group for Christians, or those who have an interest in the Christian faith. It involves games, sharing, arts, prayer and thinking about spiritual themes.
Admissions: Only open to pupils at Forsbrook Primary School. Speak to Mr Hibberts in school or contact Chrissi for more information.
