The Ministry Team consists of the rector, The Revd David Bickersteth, the (Ordained Local Ministry) curate, The Revd John Pretty, Mrs Kate Bradshaw, Reader, Mr Graham Stokes, Reader, Mrs Christine (Chrissi) Thompson, Young People's Worker and the church wardens of both parishes and Miss Jean Massey, Pastoral Secretary.In addition we are still supported by the former Curate, The Revd Noreen Russell, who has been associated with the benefice both in full time and part time ministry over a number of years. We also have a Lay Reader, Mrs Ellee Brooks who is presently not acting as a team member due to ill health.

We meet to plan, pray and run the life of the parishes, ably assisted by the musicians and members of the church family.

The Rector, David Bickersteth was born in 1950 and ordained in 1975 and before coming to the benefice served over twenty six years in Carlisle diocese, his last post being as Team Rector of Maryport. He is married to Gillian. They have a son, Simon, who is a vicar in Walsall and a daughter Alice, married to Neil, both teachers. Like David, John is ably supported in his ministry by Angela, who acts as deputy warden for Draycott. John and Angela are retired teachers, John having taken early retirement as a Primary head teacher. John has special oversight for Draycott parish, they too have a son and daughter.
