About St Margaret's Church

St Margaret’s Parish Church serves the communities of Draycott-le-Moors and Cresswell, just south of Stoke on Trent. We are part of a united benefice with the 19th century parish church of St Peter’s Forsbrook.

Our Mission Statement is to help people into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and help them to grow in that relationship. In order to fulfil this aim we are a very active church and offer styles of worship to cover most people’s needs. We have informal Praise and Worship services (2nd and 4th Sundays at 10-00 am, with the Sunday School joining the congregation on the 2nd Sunday). On the 1st and 3rd Sundays, the service is Holy Communion at 10-00 am.

In addition we have a fortnightly 8-00 am Book of Common Prayer Communion service (alternating with St Peter’s) on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Worship is led by a very active Ministry Team.

We have a very large Sunday School, held in our Church Hall, and run a yearly Alpha Course and weekly Youth Activities led by our full time Young Person’s Worker, Chrissi Thompson.

You will find St Margaret’s to be a warm and friendly family church committed to growth and outreach. Please explore this developing web site and come and pay us a visit, you are guaranteed a warm welcome!
